“The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.”
I was studying proverbs, when this verse kinda stook out.
You know, many of us would certianlly like to be rich. And as Christians we understand that Being Rich isn’t the goal of our life.
In fact if we love money too much, loads of evil will come out of it. Also we know that we cannot serve both God and Mammon (earthly treasures. A.k.a. Money).
And yet this Holy Scripture verse tells us:
The Blessing of the Lord makes one rich, AND He adds no sorrow with it.
So not only is there some sort of riches that come with God’s blessing, (and it may not always be Money we usually interpret,) but also There Are No Problems that come with the riches!
When we wish that we could be rich, we usually have to consider all the problems that come with it. For example, most Lottery winners end up worse off After they win then they were before.
But God’s blessing doesn’t have that problem. No Sorrow added!
I suppose the moral of this Bible verse is to seek God’s blessings, The riches you’ll get won’t have any sorrow attached. And we do know how to get God’s blessings right?
